The Warrior Games

The Department of Defense (DOD) Warrior Games were held June 1 – 9 at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Approximately 300 wounded service members and veterans participated in the competition. The athletes represented the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Special Operations Command. Athletes from the U.K. Armed Forces, Australian Defence Force, and Canadian Armed Forces joined the competition that included archery, cycling, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field, and wheelchair basketball.

For the opening ceremony, PBTV provided five LED screens, including three 26’W x 16’H and two 10’W x 16’H, using digiLED 5.9mmLED panels. PBTV also supplied mobile LED screen trailers and trucksfor use around the games for playback and scores/results. The LED trailers have 20’W x 12’H screens with digiLED MK7mm LED panels.
